Elle est affich\u00e9e \u00e0 1 200 DA, presque le prix d\u2019un kilogramme de viande rouge. Fini le bon vieux temps o\u00f9 l\u2019on consommait de la sardine \u00e0 100 DA le kilo. Poisson des bourses modestes, la sardine se rar\u00e9fie, et les poissonniers sont avares en explications concernant la disparition de ce petit poisson bleu. Depuis plusieurs mois, le poisson est devenu une raret\u00e9 \u00e0 Annaba. Il y a \u00e0 peine deux ou trois ans, la sardine \u00e9tait c\u00e9d\u00e9e dans les diff\u00e9rents march\u00e9s de d\u00e9tail d\u2019Annaba \u00e0 un prix ne d\u00e9passant que rarement la barre des 600 DA, m\u00eame quand il s\u2019agissait de sardines fra\u00eeches provenant directement du port d\u2019El-Kala, ville portuaire de l\u2019extr\u00eame Est du pays. Plusieurs restaurateurs, qui se sont sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans la pr\u00e9paration de la sardine, ont tout bonnement supprim\u00e9 ce produit de leur menu car devenu trop co\u00fbteux. Une vir\u00e9e au port de la Grenouill\u00e8re, port de p\u00eache d\u2019Annaba, nous a permis d\u2019apprendre que la sardine se fait rare en mer et que le mauvais temps n\u2019arrange pas les choses. Contact\u00e9s par nos soins,, les armateurs et marins p\u00eacheurs ont exprim\u00e9 leur col\u00e8re contre l\u2019administration vu la chert\u00e9 des carburants et, surtout, l\u2019absence de subvention \u00e9tatique pour sur les intrants strat\u00e9giques. Tr\u00e8s critiques, ils d\u00e9plorent que \u00ab&nbsp;m\u00eame si l\u2019Etat&nbsp; a grandement contribu\u00e9 pour le d\u00e9veloppement de la p\u00eache en Alg\u00e9rie, certains investisseurs vers\u00e9s dans ce cr\u00e9neau n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 la hauteur de l\u2019aide \u00e9tatique&nbsp;\u00bb. Ils ont confi\u00e9&nbsp; \u00e0 la \u00ab&nbsp;Sentinelle&nbsp;\u00bb que de nombreux b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de chalutiers haut de gamme et plusieurs faux investisseurs dans le secteur de la p\u00eache n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 dignes des cr\u00e9dits allou\u00e9s par l\u2019Etat, qui leur a accord\u00e9 des facilit\u00e9s pour l\u2019acquisition de bateaux de p\u00eache. Ces navires, apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9s, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 revendus ou transform\u00e9s en embarcations de plaisance. Autrement dit, les bateaux sardiniers achet\u00e9s \u00e0 plusieurs millions de dollars par l\u2019Etat ont carr\u00e9ment disparu, et la p\u00eache du poisson se fait donc, aujourd\u2019hui encore, avec de simples embarcations ou de vieux chalutiers. Plusieurs armateurs et marins p\u00eacheurs ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 que \u00ab&nbsp;la situation est de plus en plus insoutenable&nbsp;\u00bb. \u00ab&nbsp;Certes, le poisson manque mais pas autant que \u00e7a. C\u2019est plut\u00f4t&nbsp; les moyens qui font d\u00e9faut&nbsp;\u00bb, ajoutent-ils. Questionn\u00e9s sur l\u2019exercice de navigation des anciens chalutiers, nos interlocuteurs ont pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que \u00ab&nbsp;la plupart des navires de p\u00eache sont loin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 une p\u00eache de qualit\u00e9 et nous avons \u00e9tablis des statistiques concernant les embarcations v\u00e9tustes ne r\u00e9pondant pas aux crit\u00e8res r\u00e9glementaires. Nous souhaitons qu\u2019ils soient remplac\u00e9s par d\u2019autres plus performants&nbsp;\u00bb.
