Grands favoris du tournoi africain, les U17 S\u00e9n\u00e9galais qui ont fait un sans-faute depuis le d\u00e9but du tournoi affrontent ce soir les Burkinab\u00e9s, dernier \u00e9cueil avant la grande finale pr\u00e9vue vendredi prochain au Stade Nelson Mandela de Baraki. Le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal qui s\u2019impose comme s\u00e9rieux candidat pour soulever le troph\u00e9e remportera-t-il un 5e<\/sup> titre africain en une ann\u00e9e ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les Lionceaux de la Teranga affronteront leurs homologues burkinab\u00e9s dans un palpitant \u00ab\u00a0face \u00e0 face\u00a0\u00bb qui promet beaucoup, lors de la demi-finale de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations des moins de 17 ans pr\u00e9vue ce soir au stade du 19 mai 1956 d\u2019Annaba. Comme un rouleau compresseur, les S\u00e9n\u00e9galais ont tout \u00e9cras\u00e9 sur leur chemin lors de la phase de groupes, avant de s\u2019adjuger une \u00ab\u00a0manita\u00a0\u00bb face \u00e0 l’Afrique du Sud (5-0) en quarts de finale. Ils sont conscients de leur parcours h\u00e9ro\u00efque et de leur performance depuis le d\u00e9but de la 14e \u00e9dition : ils entameront les demi-finales dans la peau d’un potentiel candidat pour soulever le troph\u00e9e de la cat\u00e9gorie pour la premi\u00e8re fois de leur histoire. Les cap\u00e9s de l’entra\u00eeneur Serigne Saliou Dia tenteront de hisser leur pays en finale et pourquoi pas \u00eatre sacr\u00e9s champions d’Afrique de la cat\u00e9gorie, comme c’\u00e9tait le cas pour leurs ain\u00e9s champions d’Afrique \u00e0 la CAN-2021 (seniors), de la CAN Beach Soccer-2022, du CHAN-2022 et de la CAN U20-2023. Ayant atteint le carr\u00e9 d’or avec 12 buts marqu\u00e9s et surtout avec 0 but encaiss\u00e9, les Lionceaux s\u00e9n\u00e9galais ne comptent pas s’arr\u00eater \u00e0 ce stade de la comp\u00e9tition africaine apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9croch\u00e9 leur billet pour la Coupe du monde, ce qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 important pour cette s\u00e9lection qui n’a jamais pris part \u00e0 un mondial de cette cat\u00e9gorie d’\u00e2ge. Pour atteindre cet objectif, les S\u00e9n\u00e9galais peuvent d\u00e9sormais compter sur leur nouvelle star, le brillant attaquant Amara Diouf, pensionnaire de l’acad\u00e9mie G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Foot, avec ses cinq buts marqu\u00e9s jusque-l\u00e0, une v\u00e9ritable performance de ce jeune \u00ab\u00a0lion\u00a0\u00bb qui ne cesse d’impressionner les adeptes de football alors qu’il n’a que 14 ans. Mais Il faudra d’abord se m\u00e9fier avant de se d\u00e9faire de cette impressionnante s\u00e9lection burkinab\u00e9 qui avait atteint le dernier carr\u00e9 en battant le Nigeria (2-1), une grande performance des \u00ab\u00a0Etalons\u00a0\u00bb qui compostent ainsi leur billet pour le Mondial 2023 de la cat\u00e9gorie. Le s\u00e9lectionneur du Burkina Faso Ibrahima Traor\u00e9 est all\u00e9 loin en d\u00e9voilant l’ambition des siens d’aller chercher le troph\u00e9e, et r\u00e9\u00e9diter le coup de 2011 au Rwanda. Le Burkina Faso, d\u00e9tenteur du titre en 2011 au Rwanda, a prouv\u00e9 face aux Nig\u00e9rians que c’est une \u00e9quipe redoutable, capable d’aller loin dans le tournoi. La d\u00e9faite conc\u00e9d\u00e9e d’entr\u00e9e face au Mali (1-0) lors de la premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e de la phase de groupes n’\u00e9tait finalement qu’un accident de parcours. Les burkinab\u00e9s devront compter sur l’attaquant-maison Souleymane Alio, qui s’est distingu\u00e9 de fort belle mani\u00e8re en signant un doubl\u00e9 (76e, 79e) lors de la 3e journ\u00e9e du groupe C face au Cameroun et qui avait propuls\u00e9 les cadets des \u00ab\u00a0Etalons\u00a0\u00bb aux quarts de finale, mais \u00e9galement du milieu de terrain Aboubakar Camara, auteur d’un doubl\u00e9 face au Nig\u00e9ria, pour le compte des quarts de finale. La finale de la 14e Coupe d’Afrique des nations CAN-2023 des moins de 17 ans (U17) aura lieu vendredi 19 mai \u00e0 22h00 au stade Nelson-Mandela de Baraki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
