Lanc\u00e9 en 2019, le taux d\u2019avancement du projet a atteint 75%. Ce qui permet son ach\u00e8vement et sa r\u00e9ception en d\u00e9cembre 2023. Les autorit\u00e9s locales de la wilaya de Skikda ont ordonn\u00e9, suite au retard enregistr\u00e9 dans les travaux, l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration du rythme de r\u00e9alisation d\u00e8s lors que cette station permettra d\u2019\u00e9liminer la pollution au niveau des plages de Skikda et de Filfila. Ainsi, apr\u00e8s sa mise en service, cette station va assurera l\u2019\u00e9puration des eaux us\u00e9es de la commune de Filfila-centre, mais aussi ceux du p\u00f4le urbain de Bouza\u00e2roura, de la cit\u00e9 Salah Chebel, des zones touristiques de Filfila et de la cit\u00e9 Larbi Ben M\u2019hidi de Skikda. Par ailleurs, huit \u00e9tablissements touristiques (h\u00f4tels) de la commune de Filfila seront raccord\u00e9s \u00e0 la station. Par ailleurs, il est \u00e0 noter que la premi\u00e8re responsable de la wilaya de Skikda n&rsquo;est pas rest\u00e9e indiff\u00e9rente au retard des travaux de cette station d\u2019\u00e9puration. Elle a du coup sollicit\u00e9 l\u2019ouverture d\u2019une enqu\u00eate minist\u00e9rielle sur les raisons de ce retard estim\u00e9 \u00e0 36 mois, compte tenu de l\u2019importance capitale de l\u2019ouvrage. En effet, une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation d\u2019officiels, dont la wali, a effectu\u00e9, en fin de semaine une visite d\u2019inspection sur le site. Elle a assist\u00e9 \u00e0 un expos\u00e9 sur le fonctionnement de la station. Rappelons que, la commune de Filfila a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 du projet de la station d\u2019\u00e9puration des eaux us\u00e9es (STEP), inscrit au titre du programme sectoriel d\u00e9centralis\u00e9 (PSD), dont les travaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9s en 2019, pour un d\u00e9lai de concr\u00e9tisation de 24 mois. Le projet est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l\u2019un des plus importants affect\u00e9s r\u00e9cemment au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de cette wilaya et englobe la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019une station
