S\u2019adressant \u00e0 l\u2019animateur Sean Hannity, le pr\u00e9sident de la Chambre des repr\u00e9sentants a affirm\u00e9 que l\u2019enqu\u00eate de la Chambre sur les affaires des membres de la famille du pr\u00e9sident \u00ab s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve au niveau de l\u2019enqu\u00eate en destitution \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Nous ne saurions rien de cela si les r\u00e9publicains n\u2019avaient pas pris la majorit\u00e9 \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 en faisant allusion aux all\u00e9gations selon lesquelles des membres de la famille du pr\u00e9sident am\u00e9ricain auraient re\u00e7u des paiements de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e9trang\u00e8res et des t\u00e9moignages de lanceurs d\u2019alerte de l\u2019IRS selon lesquels le minist\u00e8re de la Justice aurait min\u00e9 leur enqu\u00eate sur Hunter Biden. Il a ajout\u00e9 qu\u2019une \u00e9ventuelle enqu\u00eate en destitution \u00ab donne au Congr\u00e8s le pouvoir le plus fort pour obtenir le reste des connaissances et des informations n\u00e9cessaires \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une commission de la Chambre doit entendre jeudi le t\u00e9moignage de David Archer, ancien ami et partenaire de Hunter Biden en Ukraine qui pr\u00e9tend que Joe Biden a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des rencontres d\u2019affaires avec son fils via t\u00e9l\u00e9phone. Le pr\u00e9sident d\u00e9mocrate a toujours ni\u00e9 avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00eal\u00e9 aux affaires de son fils. Archer a \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re \u00e0 un an de prison pour son r\u00f4le dans une fraude financi\u00e8re de 60 millions de dollars impliquant plusieurs clients. Il a annul\u00e9 au moins trois participations \u00e0 des auditions pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes pour des raisons personnelles. La Constitution am\u00e9ricaine pr\u00e9voit que le Congr\u00e8s peut destituer le pr\u00e9sident en cas de \u201ctrahison, corruption ou autres crimes et d\u00e9lits majeurs\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notons que les r\u00e9publicains au Congr\u00e8s ont entam\u00e9 au mois de juin dernier&nbsp; une proc\u00e9dure pour l\u2019ouverture d\u2019une enqu\u00eate en destitution contre le pr\u00e9sident Joe Biden. Cette premi\u00e8re proc\u00e9dure a \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9e par des \u00e9lus trumpistes qui accusent le dirigeant d\u00e9mocrate d\u2019\u00eatre responsable d\u2019une \u201cinvasion\u201d \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re entre les Etats-Unis et le Mexique du fait de sa politique migratoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plut\u00f4t que de se prononcer directement sur une proc\u00e9dure de destitution, les r\u00e9publicains \u00e0 la Chambre ont alors choisi&nbsp; de passer d\u2019abord par un vote en commission &#8211; mettant un coup de frein \u00e0 l\u2019initiative des trumpistes. Jamais un pr\u00e9sident n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 destitu\u00e9 dans l\u2019histoire am\u00e9ricaine. Trois ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en accusation: Andrew Johnson en 1868, Bill Clinton en 1998 et Donald Trump en 2019 et en 2021. Mais tous ont \u00e9t\u00e9 finalement acquitt\u00e9s.
