Les cours du brut sont, encore une fois mont\u00e9s, pouss\u00e9s par le haut vers les nouvelles pr\u00e9visions de l\u2019agence internationale de l\u2019\u00e9nergie laquelle dit craindre un d\u00e9ficit de l\u2019offre de p\u00e9trole sur le march\u00e9 au cours des derniers mois.  En ouverture de s\u00e9ance et vers 09H20 GMT (11H20 HEC), le baril de Brent de la mer du Nord, pour livraison en novembre, prenait 0,49% \u00e0 92,51 dollars, apr\u00e8s avoir culmin\u00e9 \u00e0 92,84 dollars. Son \u00e9quivalent am\u00e9ricain, le baril de West Texas Intermediate (WTI), pour livraison en octobre, gagnait 0,52% \u00e0 89,30 dollars, apr\u00e8s avoir touch\u00e9 89,64 dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’AIE qui d\u00e9fend les int\u00e9r\u00eats de l\u2019OCDE pr\u00e9voit une \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9ficit substantiel de l’offre\u00a0\u00bb de p\u00e9trole au quatri\u00e8me trimestre 2023, selon son rapport mensuel publi\u00e9 hier. L\u2019 AIE pr\u00e9voit une \u00ab\u00a0importante p\u00e9nurie de l’offre\u00a0\u00bb de p\u00e9trole au 4e trimestre 2023 apr\u00e8s l’annonce d\u00e9but septembre de la prolongation des coupes dans les productions et les exportations russes et saoudiennes, mercredi dans son rapport mensuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces coupes devraient se traduire par \u00ab\u00a0un d\u00e9ficit substantiel\u00a0\u00bb d’un million de barils par jour pour les pays de l’OPEP+, \u00ab\u00a0augmentant le risque\u00a0\u00bb de \u00ab\u00a0volatilit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb sur les march\u00e9s, analyse l’AIE. \u00ab\u00a0Les r\u00e9ductions de production des membres de l’OPEP+ de plus de 2,5 mb\/j depuis d\u00e9but 2023 ont jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent \u00e9t\u00e9 compens\u00e9es par une offre plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e de la part des producteurs ext\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 l’alliance\u00a0\u00bb, note-t-elle cependant. L’AIE \u00e9voque notamment les \u00c9tats-Unis et le Br\u00e9sil qui ont soutenu \u00ab\u00a0une augmentation de 1,9 mb\/j de la production non-OPEP+ de janvier \u00e0 ao\u00fbt, tandis que l’Iran, toujours sous sanctions, a augment\u00e9 sa production d’environ 600.000 b\/j\u00a0\u00bb. \u00ab\u00a0Mais \u00e0 partir de septembre, la diminution de la production de l’OPEP+, men\u00e9e par l’Arabie saoudite, entra\u00eenera un d\u00e9ficit d’approvisionnement important jusqu’au quatri\u00e8me trimestre\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-elle ajout\u00e9. Dans son rapport mensuel publi\u00e9 mardi, l’OPEP a estim\u00e9 qu’au quatri\u00e8me trimestre, la demande pourrait d\u00e9passer l’offre de brut de 3,3 millions de barils si la \u00ab\u00a0production potentielle de l’OPEP (se maintient \u00e0) 27,5 millions de barils par jour\u00a0\u00bb, son niveau d’ao\u00fbt, note Tamas Varga, de PVM Energy. \u00ab\u00a0Un \u00e9puisement quotidien des stocks de plus de 3 millions de barils par jour, s’il s’av\u00e8re exact, repr\u00e9sente le plus grand d\u00e9ficit de l’offre mondiale depuis 16 ans\u00a0\u00bb, souligne l’analyste. Pour le moment, cette \u00ab\u00a0p\u00e9nurie attendue\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9termine l’humeur du march\u00e9 et pousse les prix \u00e0 la hausse, note M. Varga, compensant les inqui\u00e9tudes quant \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 de l’\u00e9conomie mondiale et le niveau de la demande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
