Pr\u00e9sentant les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019Etude PACT II, le chef de service de cardiologie au CHU, Nafissa Hammoud de Hussein Dey(Alger), Pr Djamal Eddine Nibouche a indiqu\u00e9, dimanche, que l\u2019\u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par nombre de sp\u00e9cialistes sur un \u00e9chantillon de 2.000 hypertendus de diff\u00e9rentes tranches d\u2019\u00e2ges et de diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions du pays, a montr\u00e9 que 17,4% de ces patients avaient atteint les objectifs tensionnels recommand\u00e9s, ajoutant que les hypertendus b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaient \u00ab d\u2019une prise en charge \u00e0 la hauteur, qui pourrait \u00eatre am\u00e9lior\u00e9e avec le temps en coordination avec tous les acteurs concern\u00e9s \u00bb. Pr Nibouche a rappel\u00e9, citant la r\u00e9cente \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en Alg\u00e9rie par le minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 en collaboration avec l\u2019Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9 (OMS), que 23,6% des Alg\u00e9riens \u00e2g\u00e9s entre 18 et 69 ans souffraient d\u2019hypertension art\u00e9rielle, soit une personne sur quatre. Les donn\u00e9es de l\u2019Etude ont, \u00e9galement, mis en lumi\u00e8re d\u2019autres facteurs de risque cardiovasculaire fr\u00e9quents parmi les patients, notamment le diab\u00e8te (65%), la s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 (53%), la dyslipid\u00e9mie (50%), l\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 (44%) et l\u2019insuffisance r\u00e9nale (11,3%). Selon PACT II, 38,4 % de la population \u00e9tudi\u00e9e pr\u00e9sentait un niveau de risque cardiovasculaire tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9. Pr. Nibouche a exprim\u00e9 sa satisfaction quant \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la prise en charge de l\u2019hypertension art\u00e9rielle en Alg\u00e9rie et la disponibilit\u00e9 de tout type de m\u00e9dicament. Estimant que la stabilit\u00e9 de la maladie requiert la mobilisation de tous les acteurs pour limiter ses complications co\u00fbteuses au double plan social et \u00e9conomique, le responsable a ajout\u00e9 en se r\u00e9f\u00e9rant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude que la r\u00e9alisation de la stabilit\u00e9 de la maladie en g\u00e9n\u00e9rale demeure toujours \u00ab faible \u00bb, faute de temps suffisant accord\u00e9 au malade et en l\u2019absence d\u2019\u00e9quilibre entre la prise des m\u00e9dicaments et le r\u00e9gime alimentaire, a-t-il indiqu\u00e9.
