La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation alg\u00e9rienne, compos\u00e9e dans sa totalit\u00e9 de 85 personnes, s’est d\u00e9plac\u00e9e, jeudi dernier, \u00e0 Tokyo, pour le rendez-vous plan\u00e9taire qui d\u00e9butera mardi.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’Alg\u00e9rie sera pr\u00e9sente dans cinq disciplines \u00e0 la 16e<\/sup> \u00e9dition des Jeux Paralympiques Tokyo-2020, qui d\u00e9butera ce mardi, avec l’ambition de r\u00e9aliser plusieurs podiums et honorer embl\u00e8me national. 27 athl\u00e8tes, dont 10 filles, sont engag\u00e9s en athl\u00e9tisme (21 athl\u00e8tes), judo (3) et powerlifting (3), en plus des deux s\u00e9lections de goal-ball messieurs (6 joueurs) et handi-basket masculin et f\u00e9minin (12 \u00e9l\u00e9ments pour chaque \u00e9quipe). La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation compos\u00e9e dans sa totalit\u00e9 de 85 personnes s’est d\u00e9plac\u00e9e, jeudi dernier, \u00e0 Tokyo via Istanbul. L’espoir de m\u00e9dailles et distinctions du c\u00f4t\u00e9 alg\u00e9rien repose principalement sur les sports individuels, essentiellement le para-athl\u00e9tisme, o\u00f9 les nouveaux athl\u00e8tes seront \u00e9paul\u00e9s par d’autres plus habitu\u00e9s au haut niveau et qui ont \u00e0 chaque fois bien honor\u00e9 leur contrat. Parmi eux, quatre tenteront de d\u00e9fendre leur titre acquis \u00e0 Rio en 2016, \u00e0 savoir Abdellatif Baka et Samir Nouioua (1500m), Nassima Sa\u00effi (disque) et BoudjadarAsmahane (poids). S\u2019ajoutent \u00e0 ce quatuor, sept athl\u00e8tes qui \u00e9taient m\u00e9daill\u00e9s lors de la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente \u00e9dition des Jeux Paralympiques, \u00e0 savoir Nadia Medjmedj (poids et javelot), Mounia Gasmi (club), Lynda Hamri (longueur), Mohamed Berrahal (100m), BahlazLahouari et Kamel Kardjena (poids) ainsi qu’Abdellaoui Cherine en judo. Comme \u00e0 chaque \u00e9dition, la liste des athl\u00e8tes alg\u00e9riens qualifi\u00e9s pour le rendez-vous paralympique comprend de nouvelles figures sur lesquelles reposent de grands espoirs de m\u00e9dailles. Entre autres, l\u2019in retrouvera le sprinteur AthmaniSkander-Djamil (T13\/100 et 400m), Walid Ferhah (F32\/club), Salah Khelaifia (T13\/100m), Abdelkrim Krai (T38\/1500m) et Ahmed Mehideb (F32\/poids et club). En para-judo, les chances de m\u00e9dailles reposent sur Abdellaoui Cherine (-52 kg), en bronze \u00e0 Rio et 4e mondiale. Ses compatriotes IshakOuldkouider (-60 kg), 6e<\/sup> mondial et Abderrahmane Chetouane (-90 kg) effectueront leur bapt\u00eame du feu dans les Jeux. En para-powerlifting, une discipline qui marquera sa 3e<\/sup> participation paralympique, trois athl\u00e8tes d\u00e9fendront les couleurs nationales \u00e0 Tokyo. Il s\u2019agit de Hocine Bettir, Hadj Ahmed Beyor et Samira Guerioua. Si la qualification de Bettir (-65 kg) aux JP avait \u00e9t\u00e9 acquise en 2019, lors de la Coupe du monde (m\u00e9daille d\u2019argent), celles de Beyor (-49 kg) et Guerioua (-45 kg) avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 assur\u00e9es en 2021 lors du Grand Prix de Fazza \u00e0 Duba\u00ef. L\u2019optimisme relev\u00e9 en sports individuels ne sera certainement pas le m\u00eame en sports-co, avec la participation des \u00e9quipes nationales de handi-basket (messieurs et dames) et de goal-ball (messieurs) dont la mission ne sera pas de tout repos. Jouer les premiers r\u00f4les sera extr\u00eamement difficile face \u00e0 des adversaires plus aguerris. Il est \u00e0 rappeler que l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 aux Jeux Paralympiques de Rio-2016 une moisson de 16 m\u00e9dailles (4 or, 5 argent et 7 bronze) et une 27e place sur 83 pays class\u00e9s.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
