Les \u00e9v\u00e9nements se passent dans un endroit secret, au milieu de nul part, entre un prisonnier alg\u00e9rien accus\u00e9 de d\u00e9tenir des informations capitales sur la r\u00e9volution et un officier fran\u00e7ais charg\u00e9 de le faire parler. Les deux hommes nourrissent des r\u00eaves oppos\u00e9s. L&rsquo;officier, celui de soustraire les informations au prisonnier pour mater la r\u00e9volution et obtenir sa promotion, et le prisonnier, celui de garder le secret pour sauver ses fr\u00e8res et vivre libre dans son pays ind\u00e9pendant. Malgr\u00e9 toute la ruse et les s\u00e9vices psychologiques et physiques que lui fait subir l&rsquo;officier colonial, le prisonnier, arm\u00e9 de ses id\u00e9aux et de sa conviction de la justesse de sa cause, parvint \u00e0 supporter sa douleur et \u00e0 r\u00e9sister dans une lutte pouss\u00e9e \u00e0 son paroxysme. Il parviendra m\u00eame, par sa r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la tentation et \u00e0 la douleur, \u00e0 renverser la situation et \u00e0 briser le moral de l&rsquo;officier qui finit par s&rsquo;effondrer. \u00ab\u00a0Le prisonnier\u00a0\u00bb qui a capt\u00e9 un public int\u00e9ress\u00e9, \u00e9tant pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une journ\u00e9e de semaine non f\u00e9ri\u00e9e, est une production de la
