Le ministre irakien du p\u00e9trole a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 hier que son pays avait proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 suffisamment de r\u00e9ductions volontaires de la production de p\u00e9trole et qu’il n’accepterait aucune r\u00e9duction future d\u00e9cid\u00e9e par l’Opep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les ministres des pays membres de l\u2019Organisation des pays exportateurs de p\u00e9trole et leurs alli\u00e9s signataires de la D\u00e9claration de coop\u00e9ration est pr\u00e9vue le 1er<\/sup> juin prochain. Ces derniers devront se pencher sur les prochaines \u00e9tapes de la politique de l\u2019offre de p\u00e9trole pour le second semestre 2024. Si la majorit\u00e9 des observateurs s\u2019attendent \u00e0 ce que l\u2019Opep+ reconduise les coupes actuelles de production, les n\u00e9gociations pourraient s\u2019av\u00e9rer complexes, d\u2019autant plus que certaines parties de l\u2019accord commencent d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 \u00e9lever le seuil des n\u00e9gociations et conc\u00e9der le moins de concessions en mati\u00e8re de quotas au regard de capacit\u00e9s et projections de productions qui \u00e9voluent. Apr\u00e8s les \u00c9mirats arabes unis puis certains des producteurs africains en 2023, c\u2019est au tour de l\u2019Irak de faire de la r\u00e9sistance. Hier, le ministre irakien du p\u00e9trole, Hayan Abdel-Ghani, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que son pays avait proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 suffisamment de r\u00e9ductions volontaires de la production de p\u00e9trole et qu’il n’accepterait aucune r\u00e9duction future d\u00e9cid\u00e9e par l’Opep.\u00a0\u00bbNous ne consentirons \u00e0 aucune nouvelle r\u00e9duction de la production lors de la prochaine r\u00e9union de l’OPEP+\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Hayan Abdul Ghani aux journalistes en marge d’une rencontre les licences p\u00e9troli\u00e8res et gazi\u00e8res \u00e0 Bagdad. Il faut dire que cette d\u00e9claration intervient quelques jours apr\u00e8s que Baghdad ait accept\u00e9, avec le Kazakhstan de r\u00e9duire leur offre de p\u00e9trole pour compenser les surplus de production par rapport \u00e0 leurs quotas.   <\/strong>L’Irak a affirm\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs reprises qu’il s’engageait \u00e0 respecter les r\u00e9ductions volontaires initialement annonc\u00e9es par l’OPEP+ en 2023, mais il a pomp\u00e9 plus que sa quota de production de 602 000 barils par jour au cours des trois premiers mois de 2024, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l’Opep. Le 3 mai, l\u2019Organisation bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Vienne que l’Irak a accept\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire sa production de 602.000 barils par jour, soit l’\u00e9quivalent de sa surproduction au premier trimestre, et le Kazakhstan de 389.000 barils par jour. \u00ab\u00a0La totalit\u00e9 des volumes exc\u00e9dentaires sera enti\u00e8rement absorb\u00e9e d’ici la fin de l’ann\u00e9e<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, pr\u00e9cise le groupe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
