Le repr\u00e9sentant de la ministre de la Culture et des Arts, Nabil Hadji, pr\u00e9sidant l\u2019ouverture de la manifestation aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du wali de Batna, Mohamed Benmalek, a salu\u00e9 les efforts de la jeune \u00e9quipe en charge de l\u2019organisation qui a su, selon lui, \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9fier toutes les difficult\u00e9s afin de faire du festival un succ\u00e8s et lui faire atteindre la 4\u00e8me \u00e9dition\u00a0\u00bb . M. Hadji a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que le festival, rendez-vous international rassemblant des professionnels et de grands noms du 7\u00e8me art, d\u2019Alg\u00e9rie et de l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du pays, confirme l\u2019importance du r\u00f4le du cin\u00e9ma dans la relance de la vie culturelle. Une relance rendue possible, a-t-il soulign\u00e9, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019accompagnement des \u00ab\u00a0initiatives cibl\u00e9es et constructives\u00a0\u00bb qui favoriseront la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 eu \u00e9gard \u00e0 la position pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante de cet art aupr\u00e8s de la jeunesse cr\u00e9ative qui porte le flambeau du progr\u00e8s. L\u2019organisation de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement culturel \u00e0 dimension internationale, avec la participation de plus de 17 pays fr\u00e8res et amis, co\u00efncide avec la comm\u00e9moration par l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie de la Journ\u00e9e nationale de la m\u00e9moire, le 8 mai 1945, et dans la perspective de la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration, le 5 juillet prochain, du 62\u00e8me anniversaire de l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance. Plusieurs personnalit\u00e9s artistiques, dont Fatima Halilou, Hassan Benzerari et Mohamed-Tahar Zaoui, d\u2019Alg\u00e9rie, ainsi que Mustapha Zamani, d\u2019Iran ont \u00e9t\u00e9 honor\u00e9s lors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d\u2019ouverture du festival. Pas moins de 21 courts-m\u00e9trages de fiction, produits dans 17 pays, sont en lice pour les prix de ce festival qui se poursuivra jusqu\u2019au 15 mai, selon le commissaire de la manifestation, Issam Taachit, qui a soulign\u00e9 que cette ann\u00e9e, l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement est marqu\u00e9 par une \u00ab\u00a0pr\u00e9sence qualitative\u00a0\u00bb de figures du cin\u00e9ma, alg\u00e9riens et \u00e9trangers, notamment Tahar Boukla (Alg\u00e9rie), Mustapha Zamani (Iran) et Todor Chapkanov (Bulgarie), ce dernier \u00e9tant le pr\u00e9sident du jury. Le festival, qui vise \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0relancer la sc\u00e8ne culturelle et cin\u00e9matographique au niveau local et national \u00ab\u00a0, comprendra des ateliers de formation \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation du court-m\u00e9trage, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9criture de sc\u00e9narios et au jeu d\u2019acteur, encadr\u00e9s par des artistes sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans le domaine, a \u00e9galement indiqu\u00e9 le commissaire du festival, notant que le public pourra \u00e9galement assister, hors comp\u00e9tition, \u00e0 la projection de 4 longs-m\u00e9trages. Cette manifestation culturelle donnera \u00e9galement lieu \u00e0 des excursions au profit des invit\u00e9s de Batna et de l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie qui pourront d\u00e9couvrir la richesse des tr\u00e9sors
