En aviron, deux athl\u00e8tes alg\u00e9riens se sont illustr\u00e9s. Nihad Benchadli, 22 ans, a remport\u00e9 la finale \u00ab\u00a0E\u00a0\u00bb du skiff dames, se classant 25e au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral pour sa premi\u00e8re participation olympique. Son compatriote Sid Ali Boudina, v\u00e9t\u00e9ran de trois olympiades, a termin\u00e9 18e sur 31 participants dans l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve du skiff messieurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;athl\u00e9tisme, traditionnellement pourvoyeur de m\u00e9dailles pour l&rsquo;Alg\u00e9rie, fait son entr\u00e9e en sc\u00e8ne. Djamel Sedjati, figure de proue de la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation et grand favori pour le titre du 800 m, est arriv\u00e9 au village olympique. La lanceuse de marteau Zahra Tatar et le hurdleur Amine Bouanani feront leurs d\u00e9buts dans les qualifications dimanche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tatar, dont la meilleure performance en 2024 est de 69,65 m, vise une place en finale. Bouanani, premier Alg\u00e9rien \u00e0 disputer le 110 m haies aux JO, esp\u00e8re atteindre les demi-finales avec son chrono de 13.45 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 cette saison. Premier alg\u00e9rien \u00e0 disputer les olympiades sur cette \u00e9preuve technique, Bouanani a indiqu\u00e9 que son chrono r\u00e9alis\u00e9 cette saison lui permettrait d\u2019atteindre son objectif, qui serait d\u00e9j\u00e0 un grand exploit. &nbsp;Ces Jeux sont marqu\u00e9s par plusieurs premi\u00e8res pour le sport alg\u00e9rien. Outre Bouanani en 110 m haies, Nesrine Houili devient la premi\u00e8re femme \u00e0 repr\u00e9senter le cyclisme alg\u00e9rien aux JO. \u00c0 seulement 20 ans, elle participera \u00e0 la course en ligne sur route (157,6 km) avec l&rsquo;ambition de terminer l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve. Je vais donner le maximum pour atteindre mes objectifs dans cette course tr\u00e8s relev\u00e9e. J&rsquo;ai fait une bonne pr\u00e9paration depuis ma qualification aux JO et je suis pr\u00eate \u00e0 relever le d\u00e9fis\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la m\u00e9daill\u00e9e d&rsquo;or aux derniers Jeux africains d\u2019Accra au Ghana. En cano\u00eb-kayak, Carole Diana Bouzidi, d\u00e9j\u00e0 demi-finaliste en slalom, poursuit l&rsquo;aventure avec les qualifications du kayak cross contre la montre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s huit journ\u00e9es de comp\u00e9tition, la Chine occupe toujours la premi\u00e8re place du tableau g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des m\u00e9dailles avec une moisson de 31 breloques (13 or, 9 argent, 9 bronze). La Chine devance la France (11 or, 13 argent, 13 bronze) et l&rsquo;Australie (11 or, 6 argent, 5 bronze).
