Condamn\u00e9 par contumace \u00e0 un total de cent ans de prison pour corruption en Alg\u00e9rie, Bouchouareb se trouve actuellement sous contr\u00f4le judiciaire en France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La chambre de l\u2019instruction de la cour d\u2019appel d\u2019Aix-en-Provence examinera le 9 octobre huit demandes d\u2019extradition \u00e9manant de la justice alg\u00e9rienne concernant l\u2019ex-ministre. Ces demandes visent \u00e0 permettre des poursuites et l\u2019ex\u00e9cution de cinq jugements, chacun le condamnant \u00e0 vingt ans de prison et \u00e0 de lourdes amendes pour corruption et d\u00e9tournements de fonds publics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ancien ministre de l\u2019Industrie et des Mines, Abdeslam Bouchouareb, en fuite \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, a officiellement demand\u00e9 \u00e0 la justice fran\u00e7aise de rejeter son extradition vers l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie. Condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 des peines cumulant cent ans de prison pour corruption, favoritisme et d\u00e9tournement de fonds, il fait l\u2019objet de multiples demandes d\u2019extradition \u00e9manant des autorit\u00e9s alg\u00e9riennes. Celles-ci esp\u00e8rent le voir r\u00e9pondre devant les tribunaux pour ses infractions, jug\u00e9es dans le cadre des proc\u00e8s anticorruption post-Hirak, qui ont suivi la d\u00e9mission d\u2019Abdelaziz Bouteflika en avril 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre 2014 et 2017, Abdeslam Bouchouareb a occup\u00e9 le poste de ministre de l\u2019Industrie et des Mines sous la pr\u00e9sidence d\u2019Abdelaziz Bouteflika. Suite aux manifestations du Hirak et au d\u00e9part de Bouteflika, les enqu\u00eates anticorruptions ont cibl\u00e9 plusieurs figures et oligarques du r\u00e9gime Bouetflika, dont Bouchouareb, depuis en fuite \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tranger. Les accusations port\u00e9es contre lui comprennent la corruption, le favoritisme ainsi que le d\u00e9tournement de fonds publics. R\u00e9sidant l\u00e9galement en France, Bouchouareb est depuis octobre 2023 sous contr\u00f4le judiciaire. Ses mouvements se limitent \u00e0 l\u2019interdiction de quitter le pays et \u00e0 l\u2019obligation de remettre son passeport aux autorit\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises. Les autorit\u00e9s judiciaires fran\u00e7aises ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 demand\u00e9 des clarifications suppl\u00e9mentaires aux juridictions alg\u00e9riennes, notamment en ce qui concerne la peine de mort. Elles exigent la garantie que celle-ci ne sera ni demand\u00e9e ni appliqu\u00e9e, comme l\u2019a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 l\u2019AFP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019ancien
