Une reconnaissance exceptionnelle pour cette ing\u00e9nieure agronome devenue ambassadrice passionn\u00e9e du patrimoine culinaire alg\u00e9rien, qui s&rsquo;appr\u00eate \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre les couleurs nationales face \u00e0 une concurrence redoutable venue du monde entier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeudi matin au Palais de la Culture Moufdi-Zakaria, l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re \u00e9tait \u00e9lectrique lors de la rencontre officielle entre Yasmina Sellam et Zouhir Ballalou, ministre de la Culture et des Arts. Cette r\u00e9ception, organis\u00e9e conjointement par l&rsquo;Entreprise nationale de communication, d&rsquo;\u00e9dition et de publicit\u00e9 (ANEP) et l&rsquo;agence de communication Haizia, avait tout d&rsquo;un moment solennel c\u00e9l\u00e9brant cette s\u00e9lection historique dans la cat\u00e9gorie \u00ab\u00a0Culture culinaire\u00a0\u00bb. Le ministre n&rsquo;a pas cach\u00e9 son enthousiasme face \u00e0 cette \u0153uvre qui \u00ab\u00a0met en lumi\u00e8re un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 de l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 culturelle alg\u00e9rienne\u00a0\u00bb, soulignant combien ces initiatives contribuent au rayonnement international de notre patrimoine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yasmina Sellam, visiblement \u00e9mue par cet accueil officiel, a expliqu\u00e9 que son ouvrage concourt aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s d&rsquo;autres finalistes venus de plusieurs pays, notamment la Turquie et le Portugal, dans une comp\u00e9tition o\u00f9 chaque candidat d\u00e9fend sa vision unique de la culture alimentaire. \u00ab\u00a0Ce plat traditionnel, ancr\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;histoire nationale, incarne une facette de l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 alg\u00e9rienne depuis l&rsquo;antiquit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avec conviction, rappelant que le couscous transcende les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations et unit toutes les r\u00e9gions du pays autour d&rsquo;un h\u00e9ritage commun mill\u00e9naire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette nomination n&rsquo;est pas un coup de chance pour l&rsquo;auteure alg\u00e9rienne, qui avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 brill\u00e9 lors de l&rsquo;\u00e9dition pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. Il s&rsquo;agit en effet de sa deuxi\u00e8me participation \u00e0 ce concours mondial apr\u00e8s son premier ouvrage \u00ab\u00a0M\u00e9moire culinaire de l&rsquo;Alg\u00e9rie : Histoire de recettes\u00a0\u00bb publi\u00e9 en 2022, qui avait remport\u00e9 le prix en 2023. Cette double performance confirme la reconnaissance internationale croissante du travail documentaire exceptionnel men\u00e9 par cette passionn\u00e9e, qui combine avec brio rigueur scientifique et sensibilit\u00e9 artistique pour faire d\u00e9couvrir la richesse de notre gastronomie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;ouvrage en comp\u00e9tition retrace minutieusement l&rsquo;histoire du couscous, ce plat devenu l&rsquo;un des plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres au monde et inscrit en 2020 par l&rsquo;UNESCO dans sa liste repr\u00e9sentative du patrimoine culturel immat\u00e9riel de l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9, au nom de l&rsquo;Alg\u00e9rie et de trois autres pays du Maghreb. Mais Yasmina Sellam va bien au-del\u00e0 d&rsquo;une simple compilation de recettes. Son livre \u00ab\u00a0explore ses origines, ses vari\u00e9t\u00e9s, les ingr\u00e9dients et la m\u00e9thode de sa pr\u00e9paration, ainsi que des recettes embl\u00e9matiques\u00a0\u00bb, offrant une plong\u00e9e fascinante dans les racines profondes de cette tradition culinaire qui traverse les si\u00e8cles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;approche de l&rsquo;auteure se distingue par sa dimension anthropologique et culturelle. Elle ne se contente pas de pr\u00e9senter les diff\u00e9rentes d\u00e9clinaisons r\u00e9gionales du couscous, mais analyse finement comment ce plat f\u00e9d\u00e9rateur refl\u00e8te \u00ab\u00a0la diversit\u00e9 r\u00e9gionale et culturelle des diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions du pays\u00a0\u00bb. Cette reconnaissance officielle s&rsquo;accompagne d&rsquo;un soutien concret du minist\u00e8re de la Culture, qui \u00ab\u00a0accompagne ces initiatives s\u00e9rieuses pour renforcer leur pr\u00e9sence dans les forums sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb, t\u00e9moignant d&rsquo;une volont\u00e9 politique claire de promouvoir nos ambassadeurs culturels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie s&rsquo;est achev\u00e9e par un geste symbolique fort : Yasmina Sellam a offert un exemplaire d\u00e9dicac\u00e9 de son livre au ministre avant son d\u00e9part imminent vers Lisbonne, o\u00f9 elle repr\u00e9sentera fi\u00e8rement l&rsquo;Alg\u00e9rie lors de la grande finale pr\u00e9vue le 19 juin au Portugal. La conf\u00e9rence de presse qui a suivi cette r\u00e9ception officielle a rassembl\u00e9 de nombreux repr\u00e9sentants des m\u00e9dias nationaux.
