Elle a re\u00e7u sa lettre de d\u00e9signation de la part de son Excellence Eric Overvest, le Coordinateur R\u00e9sident du Syst\u00e8me des Nations Unies en Alg\u00e9rie, lors d&rsquo;une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie, organis\u00e9e sp\u00e9cialement \u00e0 cet effet, au si\u00e8ge de l&rsquo;organisation, sis \u00e0 El Biar (Alger). \u00ab&nbsp;Nous avons s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 Ch\u00e9rine Abdellaoui pour ce poste d&rsquo;Ambassadrice de bonne volont\u00e9, parce qu&rsquo;elle incarne parfaitement nos valeurs. Elle repr\u00e9sente un exemple \u00e0 suivre, en termes de courage, de tol\u00e9rance, de pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance et de travail d&rsquo;\u00e9quipe, car \u00e0 travers sa m\u00e9daille d&rsquo;or au Japon, elle a apport\u00e9 la preuve formelle que m\u00eame avec handicap, on peut accomplir de grands exploits&nbsp;\u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 Overvest. \u00ab&nbsp;Nous allons organiser diff\u00e9rents \u00e9v\u00e8nements dans le courant de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e, aussi bien avec des associations qu&rsquo;avec le grand public, et Abdellaoui y sera convi\u00e9e, en sa qualit\u00e9 d&rsquo;Ambassadrice de bonne volont\u00e9&nbsp;\u00bb, a poursuivi le Coordinateur R\u00e9sident du Syst\u00e8me des Nations Unies en Alg\u00e9rie. \u00ab&nbsp;La d\u00e9cision de nommer Abdellaoui \u00e0 ce poste a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise au mois d&rsquo;octobre 2020, \u00e0 l&rsquo;occasion du 75<sup>e<\/sup> anniversaire de l&rsquo;ONU&nbsp;\u00bb selon la m\u00eame source, mais l&rsquo;officialisation du projet a d\u00fb \u00ab&nbsp;attendre la mi-septembre courant, pour deux principales raisons&nbsp;\u00bb. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tant relative aux contraintes li\u00e9es \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie de la COVID-19, et la seconde \u00e0 l&rsquo;aspect sportif, car \u00e0 ce moment l\u00e0, Abdellaoui \u00e9tait pleinement engag\u00e9e dans la pr\u00e9paration des Jeux paralympiques de Tokyo. \u00ab&nbsp;Cette nomination comme Ambassadrice de l&rsquo;ONU est une seconde joie pour moi, apr\u00e8s ma m\u00e9daille d&rsquo;or que j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9croch\u00e9e \u00e0 Tokyo. J&rsquo;en suis vraiment honor\u00e9e, surtout que ce poste sera l&rsquo;occasion pour moi de servir le sport national autrement&nbsp;\u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 Abdellaoui. Et d&rsquo;ajouter&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;Quand je suis sur le tatami, mon objectif consiste \u00e0 gagner des titres, pour bien repr\u00e9senter les couleurs nationales, et surtout pour faire plaisir au peuple.
