Le minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 a rendu publics, samedi, les r\u00e9sultats de la campagne nationale de vaccination contre la poliomy\u00e9lite. Les chiffres sont \u00e9loquents : 95 % de couverture lors de la premi\u00e8re phase, 96 % en deuxi\u00e8me phase et 94 % en troisi\u00e8me phase. Des performances que le minist\u00e8re qualifie, dans son communiqu\u00e9, de r\u00e9sultats refl\u00e9tant \u00ab un niveau avanc\u00e9 de mobilisation communautaire \u00bb. Au-del\u00e0 du satisfecit, le message des autorit\u00e9s sanitaires se veut prospectif. Ces scores exceptionnels ne sauraient occulter la vigilance qu’impose la situation sanitaire mondiale. Car si la campagne antipoliomy\u00e9lite a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 la capacit\u00e9 de l’Alg\u00e9rie \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer une r\u00e9ponse de masse efficace, le minist\u00e8re insiste sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de \u00ab pr\u00e9server ces acquis \u00bb en renfor\u00e7ant la vaccination de routine. Le minist\u00e8re a, \u00e0 cette occasion, lou\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0le haut niveau d’engagement des professionnels de la sant\u00e9 et de l’ensemble des intervenants\u00a0\u00bb, soulignant que ces r\u00e9sultats \u00ab\u00a0refl\u00e8tent un niveau avanc\u00e9 de mobilisation soci\u00e9tale, la vaccination \u00e9tant un pilier fondamental de la protection de la sant\u00e9 publique\u00a0\u00bb, ajoute le communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans le m\u00eame sillage, le minist\u00e8re a insist\u00e9 sur l’imp\u00e9ratif de pr\u00e9server les acquis r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 travers \u00ab\u00a0le renforcement de la vaccination de routine qui garantit une protection durable des enfants contre les maladies \u00e9vitables, notamment la rougeole, la coqueluche, la dipht\u00e9rie, le t\u00e9tanos, l’h\u00e9patite virale (B) et d’autres pathologies aux complications graves\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Le minist\u00e8re rappelle que la vaccination de routine contribue \u00e0 \u00ab garantir une protection continue et globale des enfants conform\u00e9ment au calendrier national de vaccination \u00bb, mais aussi \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir la r\u00e9surgence de maladies que l’on croyait ma\u00eetris\u00e9es, \u00e0 maintenir l’immunit\u00e9 collective et \u00e0 \u00ab renforcer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sanitaire nationale \u00bb. L’argument de la conjoncture internationale est \u00e9galement avanc\u00e9 : \u00ab Dans le contexte mondial actuel qui conna\u00eet le retour de certaines maladies \u00bb, souligne le communiqu\u00e9, \u00ab la vigilance sanitaire demeure une responsabilit\u00e9 collective qui exige la conjugaison des efforts et la continuit\u00e9 de l’engagement. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En pratique, le minist\u00e8re invite les parents \u00e0 respecter scrupuleusement les rendez-vous du calendrier national, \u00e0 s’assurer que la vaccination de leurs enfants est compl\u00e8te, et \u00e0 se rendre dans l’\u00e9tablissement de sant\u00e9 le plus proche pour rattraper toute dose manquante. Un appel \u00e0 l’action qui traduit la conviction des autorit\u00e9s que le succ\u00e8s d’une campagne ne vaut que s’il s’inscrit dans la dur\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
