Le d\u00e9funt est n\u00e9 en 1934 dans la commune de Boussemghoun (wilaya d\u2019El Bayadh). Il a rejoint les rangs de l\u2019Arm\u00e9e de lib\u00e9ration nationale en 1956, o\u00f9 il a occup\u00e9 plusieurs responsabilit\u00e9s durant la glorieuse Guerre de lib\u00e9ration nationale. Il a \u00e9galement pris part \u00e0 de nombreuses batailles et affrontements contre les forces coloniales fran\u00e7aises dans la zone II de la wilaya VI historique, notamment la bataille d\u2019El Ga\u00e2da \u00e0 Aflou (Laghouat), ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019embuscade de la r\u00e9gion de Bounedzir au mont Messa\u00e2d. La d\u00e9pouille du d\u00e9funt sera inhum\u00e9e dans sa ville natale de Boussemghoun.
