Il n&rsquo;est pas le genre d&rsquo;artiste \u00e0 rester sagement derri\u00e8re son micro. Vendredi soir \u00e0 Alger, Mokhtar Saib, dit \u00ab Mok \u00bb, a investi la sc\u00e8ne de l&rsquo;Op\u00e9ra Boualem-Bessaih avec l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie d\u00e9bordante qui fait sa r\u00e9putation sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, o\u00f9 ses performances \u00ab spectaculaires \u00bb lui ont b\u00e2ti une solide fanbase. Le concert, organis\u00e9 dans le cadre du programme artistique ramadhanesque de l&rsquo;Op\u00e9ra, a drain\u00e9 une foule de jeunes m\u00e9lomanes venus retrouver en chair et en os la star qu&rsquo;ils suivent chaque jour sur leurs \u00e9crans. Accompagn\u00e9 de deux guitaristes et d&rsquo;un batteur, l&rsquo;artiste a livr\u00e9 une set-list puis\u00e9e dans ses titres les plus embl\u00e9matiques \u2014 <em>Ma femme<\/em>, <em>Je m&rsquo;en fous<\/em>, <em>Qouli li<\/em> \u2014 mais c&rsquo;est la forme autant que le fond qui a retenu l&rsquo;attention. Guitares satur\u00e9es, rythmiques rock, \u00e9changes spontan\u00e9s avec la salle : Mok Saib revendique une esth\u00e9tique du moment, celle d&rsquo;une musique qui se construit en direct. \u00ab Mes performances sont des moments de grande \u00e9nergie o\u00f9 l&rsquo;improvisation et l&rsquo;interaction avec le public repr\u00e9sentent un aspect crucial \u00bb, a-t-il confi\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;APS en marge du spectacle. Son univers, forg\u00e9 \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e des cultures, assume pleinement ses influences multiples. L&rsquo;artiste le d\u00e9crit lui-m\u00eame comme une \u00ab fusion sonore m\u00ealant les racines du ra\u00ef et des instruments traditionnels \u00e0 des influences rock occidentales \u00bb \u2014 un m\u00e9lange qu&rsquo;il a illustr\u00e9 ce soir par deux reprises significatives : <em>Caravane to Bagdad<\/em> de Hamid Baroudi et <em>Tal Ghyabek ya Ghzali<\/em>, hommage au regrett\u00e9 Cheb Hasni (1968\u20131994), ic\u00f4ne du ra\u00ef disparu trop t\u00f4t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour Mok Saib, qui foulait pour la premi\u00e8re fois les planches de l&rsquo;Op\u00e9ra d&rsquo;Alger, la soir\u00e9e avait aussi une valeur symbolique. Il estime que ce lieu d&rsquo;exception lui a permis d&rsquo;\u00ab exprimer sa personnalit\u00e9 artistique dynamique et cosmopolite \u00bb.
