Apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es de gel, le ministre de l’Int\u00e9rieur annonce la r\u00e9inscription du projet parmi les chantiers prioritaires.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le projet de tramway d’Annaba, longtemps demand\u00e9 par les habitants de la wilaya et tout aussi longtemps enlis\u00e9 dans les arcanes administratives, conna\u00eet un nouveau souffle. Dans une r\u00e9ponse \u00e9crite dat\u00e9e du 26 f\u00e9vrier 2026, le ministre de l’Int\u00e9rieur, des Collectivit\u00e9s locales et des Transports, Sa\u00efd Sayoud, a officiellement annonc\u00e9 la r\u00e9inscription de ce projet parmi ceux relevant du minist\u00e8re des Travaux publics et des Infrastructures de base. Une d\u00e9cision salu\u00e9e comme un signal fort apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es d’attente.,Cette annonce fait suite \u00e0 une interpellation du d\u00e9put\u00e9 Ali Mouelhi, \u00e9lu du Front de la Justice et du D\u00e9veloppement, qui avait sollicit\u00e9 des \u00e9claircissements sur la lev\u00e9e du gel frappant ce projet depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es. Sur le terrain, le bureau ex\u00e9cutif du parti \u00e0 Annaba avait multipli\u00e9 les d\u00e9marches pour alerter les autorit\u00e9s sur la crise des transports dans la wilaya, devenue une pr\u00e9occupation majeure pour les habitants. Le bureau local du Front de la Justice et du D\u00e9veloppement a d’ailleurs soulign\u00e9 que cette r\u00e9ponse \u00ab claire et rassurante \u00bb \u00e9tait \u00ab la premi\u00e8re du genre depuis le d\u00e9but de la soumission de cette pr\u00e9occupation \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des avanc\u00e9es concr\u00e8tes semblent d\u00e9sormais se dessiner. Le suivi technique du projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9 \u00e0 l’entreprise M\u00e9tro d’Alger, tandis qu’une \u00e9tude de faisabilit\u00e9 est en cours afin d’actualiser le trac\u00e9 et de l’adapter aux nouvelles r\u00e9alit\u00e9s urbaines, marqu\u00e9es par l’extension de plusieurs zones \u00e0 forte densit\u00e9 de population : El Bouni, Boukhadra 3, Sidi Amar, la nouvelle ville Ben Mostefa Benaouda, Kalitoussa, El Gantera, El Barka Zarga et A\u00efn Djebara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans sa r\u00e9ponse, le ministre Sa\u00efd Sayoud a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que le projet pr\u00e9voit la r\u00e9alisation d’une ligne de 21,8 km comprenant 34 stations, reliant le quartier Oued El Kouba \u00e0 la gare routi\u00e8re du port, en desservant les points n\u00e9vralgiques de la ville : le boulevard du 1er Novembre, le parc d’attractions, le p\u00f4le universitaire, ainsi que les communes d’El Bouni et le rond-point de Sidi Brahim. Il a \u00e9galement indiqu\u00e9 que les \u00e9tudes techniques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par le bureau d’\u00e9tudes sud-cor\u00e9en Dohwa, que le trac\u00e9 de la premi\u00e8re ligne a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9 par la commission de wilaya comp\u00e9tente, et qu’une \u00e9tude de faisabilit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 finalis\u00e9e et transmise pour approbation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le ministre a par ailleurs rappel\u00e9 que ce projet avait \u00e9t\u00e9 inscrit dans la loi de finances de 2014, mais que son lancement n’avait pas pu \u00eatre concr\u00e9tis\u00e9 en raison de l’absence de d\u00e9cision de financement. Cette pr\u00e9cision \u00e9claire la longue travers\u00e9e du d\u00e9sert d’une infrastructure pourtant indispensable \u00e0 la mobilit\u00e9 des habitants d’une wilaya en pleine expansion urbaine. Cette annonce intervient dans un contexte de mobilisation soutenue de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile et des \u00e9lus locaux, qui ont plaid\u00e9 pour la relance du projet, notamment \u00e0 travers une p\u00e9tition adress\u00e9e au pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Pour les Annabis, habitu\u00e9s depuis des ann\u00e9es \u00e0 un r\u00e9seau de transport satur\u00e9 et vieillissant, cette r\u00e9inscription repr\u00e9sente bien plus qu’une d\u00e9cision administrative : c’est l’espoir, enfin renouvel\u00e9, de voir leur ville dot\u00e9e d’une infrastructure de transport moderne et durable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
