Les traders avec d\u2019ailleurs anticip\u00e9 cette baisse des stocks d\u00e8s l\u2019ouverture des march\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hier matin, le baril de Brent de la mer du Nord pour livraison en novembrevalait 75,18 dollars \u00e0 Londres, en hausse de 1,10% par rapport \u00e0 la cl\u00f4turede mardi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A New York, le baril de WTI pour le m\u00eame mois, dont c&rsquo;est le premier jourd&rsquo;utilisation comme contrat de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, gagnait 1,32% \u00e0 71,42 dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une hausse qui s\u2019est accentu\u00e9e en fin de journ\u00e9e. A 15H15 GMT, le baril am\u00e9ricain de WTI(West Texas Intermediate) pour livraison en novembre, la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux \u00c9tats-Unis, \u00e9tait en hausse de 1,46% \u00e0 71,52 dollars \u00e0 New York.Le baril de Brentde la mer du Nord pour livraison en novembre valait 75,43 dollars \u00e0 Londres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette hausse s&rsquo;explique par la nouvelle r\u00e9duction \u00ab\u00a0substantielle\u00a0\u00bb desstocks de p\u00e9trole brut aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Une diminution d\u2019ailleurs plus importante que pr\u00e9vu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon les chiffres du rapport hebdomadaire publi\u00e9 mercredi par l&rsquo;Agence am\u00e9ricaine d&rsquo;information sur l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie (EIA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durant la semaine achev\u00e9e le 17 septembre, les stocks de brut se sont r\u00e9duits de 3,5 millions de barils (Mb). Les analystes pr\u00e9voyaient un repli de 2,45 millions de barils.Ils se sont \u00e9lev\u00e9s \u00e0 414 millions de barils, leur plus faible niveau depuis octobre 2018 et sont de 8% en-dessous de la moyenne sur cinq ans \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque.C&rsquo;est la septi\u00e8me baisse des r\u00e9serves de brut d&rsquo;affil\u00e9e.Les stocks d&rsquo;essence ont en revanche augment\u00e9 de 3,5 millions de barils, alors qu&rsquo;ils \u00e9taient attendus en baisse de 1,47 Mb.Le groupe p\u00e9trolier anglo-n\u00e9erlandais Royal Dutch Shell a d&rsquo;ailleursindiqu\u00e9 lundi que certains des \u00e9quipements du complexe WD-143, point detransfert du p\u00e9trole brut depuis les champs situ\u00e9s au large des c\u00f4tes deLouisiane endommag\u00e9 par le passage de l&rsquo;ouragan Ida dans le Golfe duMexique fin ao\u00fbt, ne seraient pas op\u00e9rationnels avant d\u00e9but 2022.
