L&rsquo;assaut a fait plusieurs bless\u00e9s et endommag\u00e9 une partie du r\u00e9seau, dont au moins une station de pompage. Cet ol\u00e9oduc n&rsquo;est pas un pipeline comme les autres. Il permet \u00e0 Riyad d&rsquo;acheminer l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent de sept millions de barils par jour vers les ports de la mer Rouge, en \u00e9vitant le d\u00e9troit d&rsquo;Ormuz, verrouill\u00e9 par l&rsquo;Iran. Son r\u00f4le a pris encore plus de poids depuis le d\u00e9clenchement du conflit au Moyen Orient, ce couloir \u00e9tant devenu l&rsquo;une des rares options fiables pour \u00e9couler la production saoudienne sans d\u00e9pendre du passage maritime le plus expos\u00e9 aux tensions r\u00e9gionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interrog\u00e9 par RTL Info, l&rsquo;\u00e9conomiste et sp\u00e9cialiste des questions \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques Damien Ernst, professeur \u00e0 l&rsquo;ULi\u00e8ge, redoute un choc de grande ampleur si la remise en service tarde. \u00ab Je pense qu&rsquo;on va s&rsquo;orienter sans doute vers un baril \u00e0 150 dollars s&rsquo;ils n&rsquo;arrivent pas \u00e0 r\u00e9parer rapidement le pipeline \u00bb, pr\u00e9vient il. Le baril de Brent \u00e9voluait ces derniers jours autour de 104 dollars, un niveau d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9lev\u00e9 qui pourrait donc bondir de pr\u00e8s de 50% si la fermeture se prolonge. L&rsquo;expert s&rsquo;appuie notamment sur l&rsquo;ampleur des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts observ\u00e9s sur le terrain. \u00ab J&rsquo;ai vu des photos des stations de pompage. L&rsquo;une d&rsquo;elles est compl\u00e8tement d\u00e9truite. \u00c7a risque de prendre des semaines, voire des mois pour la r\u00e9parer. C&rsquo;est absolument catastrophique \u00bb, a-t-il ajout\u00e9, jugeant le calendrier de r\u00e9paration particuli\u00e8rement incertain compte tenu de la nature des installations touch\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La fermeture de l&rsquo;ol\u00e9oduc intervient dans un contexte d\u00e9j\u00e0 fragile pour les march\u00e9s de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie.
